Hohner Double Bass Harmonica 265/58
This harmonica is no longer for sale (sold on 2011-05-25)
Price : US $179.26
USED. This bass was played a lot by the late Mike Smith, former vice president of the Steel Valley Harmonica Club, Youngstown, Ohio. All notes play, and this bass is playable right out of the box. I would estimate that this bass comes from the 1950s or 1960s. The nickel is worn where the hands held the bass. The former owner applied ''california sunshine'' tape to the comb, the tape is peeling at the edges and shows in very worn condition. This does not, in any way, affect the sound or playability of this wonderful musical instrument. Comes with custom made leather case.
The wood comb has small cracks on the inside chambers. These cracks are only apparent on the inside, and therefore, are insignificant to the sound and do not, in any way, affect the sound or playability of this instrument.
