We had to go to Wikipedia to get some handle on what type of Harmonica this is. We are still not sure as additional research failed to turn up another like it.  That being said we will date this item to 1880-1920. We have never seen one with 14 small brass horns built into it. At 4 3/4'' long, it is made entirely of wood with two rows of honeycombs. One piece of the vertical boards has a minor chip at the very end. The original orange paint is 99.8% intact. The cover plates are made of tin. Engraved in an Art Nouveau style on each is ...Campanella ..Made in Germany...Registered. One side has a capitol letter ''A'' engraved lower right corner. That same corner is missing the original mini-tack that holds the cover plate to wood body. The other 3 are original and intact. Tin cover does show ageing, however we believe it can be brought back. We removed an amount of discoloration with our finger nail. The 14 brass horns are dirty but appear undamaged. A note about the sound this instrument makes. No body here plays, no one here is musically inclined, so we will try to describe the sound as best we can. When you exhale into this instrument and run your fingertip across the horns it is almost like listening to the notes in modern day surround sound..almost a special effect sound. This item, as with the majority of our offerings, is fresh to the secondary market from estate acquisitions. When needed, we will blow off enough ''attic dust'' to determine what we have and stop there. Further cleaning, polishing, etc. is at the discretion of the new owner. Sensible questions answered to the best of our ability. Payment requested with
