Vintage 1940 Astatic JT30 Rare Serial # 61827 From Astatic Microphone Lab Inc. Youngston, Ohio
The condition of the mic is a 9 out of 10
I removed the cord, and installed a Switchcraft 2501 screw on connector. The connector is press fitted. It is not just put in the hole, and secured with a set screw.
I replaced the original crystal element, which is shown in the pics. The original working element shown in the picture is not included in this auction.
I installed a 1950 Shure Black Label Controlled Reluctance Transducer that ohmed out at 1280 ohms, or 1.28K ohms.
This CR is hand picked from my collection, I only install the best ones in the mics I sell.
Strong Output, Killer Tone, Guraranteed!
Don't take a chance on untested mics, or one tested by someone without knowledge of Harp mics.
I have built over 100 custom harp mics, for harp players all over the world, some famous, some not.
My other ebay account is joebluesharp2
This mic sounds great through any harp amp.
I played the mic through my Masco MAP 15, Hurricane V8, Fatdog 1A, and a Kay 505 Twin 8. It Smokes through all of them!
This one has it all, great low end, mids, and highs. If you want that Fat Chicago
