Harmonica / ''Yamaha Band'' / Japanese / Vintage
This harmonica is no longer for sale (sold on 2010-06-09)
Price : US $10.50

This Japanese harmonica probably dates to the 1950s or 1960s. The core is lacquered wood sandwiched between two sheets of brass, with stainless steel plates on the top and bottom. The brand shown in Japanese on both sides is ''Yamaha Band'' (in English on one side, in Japanese on the other). It comes in its original cardboard box.
There is a little dustiness and wear, with some very minor scratches, but the only particular damage is that some of the lacquer has flaked off from the edges of the apertures. All of the apertures produce sound, but since we're not musicians we can't say anything about its quality.
The box that it comes in is structurally sound but has some wear and much magic-marker scribbling on it.
