IRISH C SPECIAL TUNING
WITH SOLID ACRYLIC COMB
New in Case!
This is one of the rarest harmonicas out there. An Irish C means the tone goes down a half step when the button is pushed in instead of up. Many Irish and Blues players prefer this set up, but you never see one in a 16 holed chromatic. Why? 16 holed chromatics are always tuned in C. To make an Irish C you need to start with a B or Bb chromatic, and that is just not found. You must pay a harmonica modifier hundreds of dollars to get something like this. Plus, this one has a solid acrylic comb. I doubt there will ever be one of these available again on ebay or anywhere else, for that matter unless you have one specially made up! This harmonica was made by the Farrell harmonica company, most of which I bought out.
With this harmonica you only need to take off one reed cover at a time if you need to make minor adjustments, which most serious players do. Chromatic harmonicas are sensitive, and so you need to be able to make adjustments, so this makes doing that a lot easier. This is a new specially retuned harmonica and it has been checked over to make sure all reeds work. Good luck bidding all you Irish players out there!
