You are looking at The Genuine HOTZ Harmonica, THE MELODY KING.

Exactly what year this was made I have not been able to find out, but anyone who plays or collects these types of harmonicas will know.

It was made by FR. HOTZ Established 1828 OLDEST HARMONICA FACTORY Germany. Sole maker of the genuine hotz harmonicas of world wide fame made by experienced musical instrument makers. Inventer of the concept harp 100 years experience.

The sounds from this harmonica are beautiful and in great working condition.

The condition of the harmonica itself is very good for it's age. A little tarnished, but should be able to be cleaned up without any problems. The dimensions are 5 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1/2 inch deep. It has 64 reeds and plays on both sides.

The box in comes in is in rough shape, but is the original.

I feel this is very rare and old, you be the judge and happy bidding.
