This is an old harmonica for auction....date unknown (but I don't think these were made past 1930 or so)....I searched on-line and found Violin Kings, but none like this.....The tin is in great shape with a few wear spots and scratches, marked The ViolinKing artist's band, made in Germany, F.A.Bohm, with F.A. Bohm and D.R.W.Z. No. 208409 marked on front. Inside, is a harmonica, beautiful, with wear of course, and one screw on one side missing, the other screw is there with a square nut intact, on the outside on one side is marked The Viloin King in cursive with the same D.R.W.Z. No. 208409 and then Made in Germany on the end (silver in color)....On the opposite side it has several markings... F.A. BOHM in the middle and then 1850 on the left and 1900 on the right, with a REGISTERED symbol on top and a boat or ship, the other date markings have men above them, MADE IN on one end and GERMANY on the other. I tried to blow on one side and the sound that came out was amazing (the sound was great)....The interior of it is red and dark red lines, no chips, no flaws....other than the one screw missing....I cannot find anything wrong with it....the case it's in is hinged with a paper label on back with a blue border, 1/2' in size with a C in the middle of it. It meausures (the tin- harmonica inside) 1-1/4' across x about 4-1/4' long x about 7/8' deep. SEE PICTURES.
I hope the pictures show a better description than I could give. I accept PayPal along with cashier's checks and moneyorders. %
