This auction is for a NEW-OLD-STOCK ASTATIC MC-151 CRYSTAL Microphone Element (Very Hot!) in original box.

This is the High Impedance Crystal Element found in the original Astatic JT-30 and Hohner Blues Blaster Harp Mics as well as the CAD HM50 (JT-30 with gold grill).
This is from the old stock that's not made anymore so when they're gone... well, you know.
This element is commonly used in other mic shells as well (Shure bullets, Astatic T-3, Astatic 200S, etc.) by knowledgeable custom mic builders.
This is the element that gives the JT-30 that great, gritty Chicago Blues sound. There aren't many like this around anymore so best of luck to you in the auction! (mics shown in picture not included!)
